It's official! The humble allotment has made it on to the silver screen with the release of this British movie, set on and around an allotment site. It tells the story of refugees who try and escape the horrors of what they've fled, by nurturing an allotment. Throw in some allotment old timers, and you have a bitter sweet film about allotments as community melting pots....and hotbeds of rivalry! Released in cinemas on Friday 15th June.
